A woman is fighting for her life after two women were hit by a van in Blackheath.
Police said the van mounted the pavement in Blackheath Hill yesterday (May 24), about 5.25pm, hitting two pedestrians.
Police, the London Ambulance Service, and Air Ambulance arrived and a woman in her 30s was taken to hospital.
Her condition has been described by Met Police as critical.
The second pedestrian, also a woman aged in her 30s, did not require hospital treatment.
The 57-year-old driver of the Peugeot van stopped at the scene and is police say he is assisting with their investigation.
He was not injured and has not been arrested.
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and are appealing for witnesses.
