THERE must be people out there who have watched every single CSI-related episode since Gil Grissom shambled on to the scene in Las Vegas and these 12 episodes give yet another clue to that kind of devotion.
Isolate any single CSI episode - whether it's Vegas, New York or here in Miami-Dade - and you have to admire the plotting, structure, thought and professionalism that go in to them.
Add to that the kind of gritty, involving acting from the likes of David Caruso and it's easy to understand why it's stood the test of time.
Again, the Miami version here focuses more on single crime episodes in this first part of the fourth season, offering more scope for plot development.
