A £10,000 reward has been offered to anyone who can help solve the murder of 19-year-old Jordan Wright.

Jordan had been due to start an apprenticeship in the construction industry before he was stabbed and killed on April 19, in Hervey Road, Blackheath.

The reward is available to anyone with information that leads to the murderer’s arrest and conviction.

Metropolitan Police has said It applies to information passed directly to Crimestoppers.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested in Kent this morning in connection to the murder as police continue to hunt for answers.

Police and the London Ambulance Service found Jordan, who had only just graduated, with stab wounds in his chest.

He was taken to a south-London hospital where he later died.

Detectives believe Jordan had arranged to meet with a group of people and was then stabbed.

Police think these men know exactly what happened and who is responsible.

Detective Chief Inspector Diane Tudway said: “This murder has left Jordan's family devastated and has been a big shock to the local community.

“Jordan was preparing to go on a family holiday - now his parents are planning his funeral.

“If you were part of that group, tell us what you saw. If you know who was part of that group when Jordan was stabbed, please contact police or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously.”
