Denham's Anoopam Mission Temple hosted a moving tribute to the victims of the Westminster terror attack one month on from the incident.

The Hindu community came together on Sunday to show solidarity, pay their respects and pray for peace.

Rt Hon Dominic Grieve MP, Harrow councillor Ameet Jogia and PC Stephen Box attended the service.

The two hour concert by Girish Jogia and a team of professional artistes of the Ganesh Bhajan Group, was performed to raise funds for those affected by the attacks. 

With the backdrop of the poem 'Upon the Westminster Bridge', prayers were also offered to the victims of the recent attacks in Stockholm and Paris. 

The event has been seen as testimony to the commitment of the community to strenghthen the values which the attacks targeted.
