Two men are due in court today after being been charged for a racially aggravated assault on a taxi driver in Ebbsfleet.

Clive James Vivian, 27, of Cornwall Road, Dartford and James Vivian, 27, of Sidcup have both been charged with four offences.

The men have been charged with racially aggravated assault, making off without paying the taxi fare, possessing an offensive weapon, and criminal damage to a sun visor.

The incident was reported at 11.50am on Saturday March 18 after the driver took them from University Way in Dartford to Ebbsfleet International railway station.

They are remanded in custody and are due to appear at Medway Magistrates Court today.
