Merton residents are being warned to be on their guard after five burglaries were carried out around Wimbledon and Colliers Wood.
Three of the five burglaries happened in Hamilton Road, Wimbledon, with two others in Deburgh Road, Wimbledon, and Christchurch Close, Colliers Wood.
A spokesman for Merton police confirmed jewellery was taken from one of the houses, but said police were awaiting an update on anything else that was missing.

No suspects were seen, but all houses were accessed from rear gardens and back doors or windows when they were burgled between 9am and 8pm on Thursday, March 16.
Merton police are asking residents to be vigilant, and to report any suspicious behaviour by calling 101 or 999.
