A trail of destruction was left across Harrow after Storm Doris wreaked havoc last week.

Tomasz Dynarowski, of Alexandra Avenue, South Harrow, captured the chaos while driving to work at AVS Car Bodyshop, in The Arches, on Friday.

The 35-year-old took pictures of fallen trees on cars and roads in St John’s Road, Greenhill, along with strewn litter on the pavements in Station Road.

Mr Dynarowski said: “I heard about Storm Doris on the news and during that day, I decided to keep my camera with me while driving.

“I knew there would be interesting shots that I could take, but I never imagined how bad it was going to be.

“I heard a loud bang and so ran towards the noise, where I saw pieces flying from a roof and big chunks of wooden boards hitting cars.

“It was a very scary situation.”
