Momentum **
LUC Besson came out of his self-enforced retirement to direct this one, but he should have stayed in bed.
It's a shame, really, as the film starts of quite nicely with 10-year-old Arthur trying to save his grandparents' farm by galloping after a tribe of tiny little troll-like people who might know where his AWOL grandad has hidden some gems.
The trouble is once Arthur encounters the Minimoys, the film becomes an animated feature, and not a good one.
The action is too fast to follow and random events happen with no explanation. My review disc also suffered from varying volume levels. If this is indicative of the finished product, make sure the remote is kept handy.
