A woman is in a serious condition after a car crashed into several trees and a lamp-post in Wandsworth.
The crash left the 19-year-old passenger with serious injuries after the BMW crashed in Trinity Road, at 10.25pm on Tuesday January 24.
She remains in a ‘serious, but stable condition’ in hospital.
The driver, a 28-year-old man, was also taken to hospital with minor injuries. He was not arrested.
Detectives said the BMW was being driven at speed close to a white AMG model Mercedes just before the crash.
The driver of the white Mercedes did not stop at the scene and even though the car may not have been directly involved with the collision the driver is being sought as a potentially significant witness.
If you have any information call detectives from the collision investigation unit at Merton on 020 8543 5157, or 101.
