Four thugs robbed and assaulted a man, breaking his wrist in three places, in Bromley.
The 29-year-old victim was walking along Plaistow Lane at about 4pm on November 29 when he was approached by the attackers.
They approached him from behind, assaulted him and knocked him to the ground.
They continued to assault him while he was on the floor and stole £30 from him.
A number of passing vehicles hooted their horns and one driver stopped and intervened, causing the suspects to flee the scene.
The victim required hospital treatment for his injuries, which included a wrist broken in three places.
One of the suspects is described as a white man, medium to large build, aged in his mid-20’s and wearing a long black parka coat, white trainers, and a scarf over the bottom half of his face. He had a star and water drop tattoo under his left eye.
A second suspect is described as a black man, wearing a jacket with a fur hood pulled up over his head.
Detectives are keen to speak with the motorist who intervened in the assault.
Additionally anyone with any information is asked to contact Bromley Police’s CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
