A TV actor and “dangerous sexual predator” who attacked a sleeping woman at a party in Blackheath has been jailed for eight years.

Nyakeh Kpaka, 26, was at the house party in May 2015 when he twice sexually assaulted the victim who was asleep on a bed.

The woman ran screaming from the bedroom after waking up and Kpaka was arrested when police were called.

He tried to claim the sexual activity was consensual.

While police investigated, another woman alleged she had also been sexually assaulted by Kpaka at a party in Finsbury Park six months earlier.

She too had gone to sleep in a bedroom, and was woken by Kpaka sexually assaulting her.

Kpaka, from Wood Green in north London, who is also known as Nakay Kpaka, was found guilty of three sexual assaults after a trial at Woolwich Crown Court.

He was sentenced to a total of eight years in prison.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Peter Thompson, from the Met Police’s sexual offences command, said: "Kpaka is a dangerous sexual predator who has attacked vulnerable lone women whilst they were sleeping in bed at two different house parties.

“Thankfully he has now been caught and convicted and is serving a prison sentence.”

Police are now urging any further victims to come forward.

Kpaka’s online biography lists appearances on several TV shows including Broadchurch, Grantchester and Whitechapel.
