Flooding that has occurred overnight in South London due to the bursting of water pipes has left at least 20 homes with damage.
Many roads in the area are closed, causing delays. A number of bus routes (P5, 36, 185, 436) are on diversion. Drivers and passengers are advised to avoid the Camberwell area.
The fire brigade crew was called at 7am to help the residents. They are continuing to assist with the water burst.
Getting creative: locals seen using forklift to carry passengers across the road
Thames Water released a statement, apologising for the "disruption caused by the [their] burst pipe" and they are "working to stop the flow of water from it to prevent further flooding of the surrounding area and will then begin planning how best to repair it."
