The victim of an early morning stabbing has been identified as police appeal for videos and photographs of the incident taken by members of the public.

Vincent Harvey, 33, died at the scene in Station Road, Wood Green, after the stabbing at 3.20am on Saturday (October 22).

The stabbing happened outside the busy Jolly Anglers pub.

The next of kin of Mr Harvey, from Wood Green, have been informed.

On Saturday evening, a post-mortem had not yet been carried out.

Detective chief inspector Noel McHugh said: “This murder has left Vincent's family devastated and has been a big shock to the local community.

“There were a large number of people in and around the Jolly Anglers pub at the time Vincent was stabbed.

“Many of these are yet to come forward and speak with police.

“It is vital that anyone who saw this incident, or the events leading up to the incident, gets in touch.

“Many people present may have filmed the incident or have photos of the aftermath that could help police.

“While work continues to piece together Vincent's movements prior to his murder, I would directly appeal witnesses to come forward and speak to officers - you may hold invaluable information to assist us in this investigation following the death of a much loved family man.”
