HUNDREDS of trick-or-treaters are expected to descend on intu Uxbridge this Halloween as part of a series of free events being run to keep children entertained during the half-term holidays.

intu’s mission to ‘make it fangastic’ for families this half term will begin with a week of Halloween activities for children and end with a spook-tacular trick or treat event where children are invited to dress up and collect treats from any of the centre’s participating shops.

Children will be shown how to make something fangtastic, like a carved pumpkin, witch trinket or scary mask, at different workshops taking place every day of the week which ends with intu’s big trick or treat on Saturday 29th October.

The trick or treat event is being hosted by intu Uxbridge in partnership with 10 of its top shops and restaurants who will all display carved pumpkins in their windows to show they are taking part. Special buckets will be available for trick or treaters to collect from its customer service desk in return for a voluntary donation to their partner charities CRY and Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.

Natasha House, Marketing Manager at intu Uxbridge, said: “Halloween shouldn’t be frightening for families but we know that it can be difficult to keep children entertained during half term and many parents will also be looking to stay out of the cold and wet when it comes to trick or treating with their children.

“That’s why we’re looking forward to putting smiles on the faces of hundreds of mini witches and warlocks this half term with our fun-packed week of activities and intu Uxbridge’s big trick or treat event.”
