DIRECTOR Christopher Guest reunites his team for this likeable comedy spoofing the Hollywood scene.

Catherine O'Hara, Harry Shearer (the voice of Mr Burns in The Simpsons) and Parker Posey are all hopeful of an Oscar nomination for their performances in a minor movie, originally entitled Home for Purim. Of course things don't go according to plan with, as they always say, hilarious results!

A little slow to start and a bit thin on jokes this picks up speed and a gloriously over-the-top performance from Fred Willard as a TV chat show host turns mediocre into amusing.

A word of warning for Ricky Gervais fans... it's Ricky being Ricky but not very well!
