A NIGHTCLUB popular with the cast of TOWIE is hoping to have its alcohol and live music licence extended for an extra hour every night.

Essex House, in Station Road, Chingford, has applied to the council to extend its 1am cut-off for alcohol and live music to 2am.

Wayne Lineker, brother of Gary, opened the club in December last year and it has since grown popular with a host of reality TV stars.

The nightclub’s current licence allows it to serve alcohol and play recorded music from 9am until 1am, and live music from 7pm to 1am every day.

While it is permitted to be open until 2am every day, except for Monday when it is closed, it only stays open as late as 1am on Friday and Saturday.

The club also hopes to extend its permitted opening time from 2am until 2.20am.
