A 37-week pregnant Uxbridge woman won her dream car and £10,000 in cash on Tuesday.
Palvinder Zandu was in a state of shock after being surprised on her doorstep with the keys to an Audi RS6 by dream-car competitions company BOTB.
The 30-year-old has only just started playing the weekly competition and was gobsmacked when the surprise team knocked on her door armed with video camera on Tuesday, September 27.
“I cannot believe this,” she said, shaking.
“This is a dream come true. The baby is only three weeks away and we’re desperate for a bigger car.
“I’ve only started playing online recently but I never thought I’d actually win.
“I bet most people don’t. This is completely crazy - it’s the car of my dreams.”
BOTB surprises a winner with a dream car every week and has given away cars worth over £19million since it was founded in 1999.
BOTB boss Will Hindmarch said he was delighted for Palvinder and was glad it didn’t spark a rush to the hospital.
“Naturally we didn’t want the surprise to bring on Palvinder’s labour but thankfully she was pretty calm considering the circumstances,” he smiled.
“It’s always special to hand over the keys to someone’s dream car but all the more so when you know it’s going to have such a big impact on their lives.
“Everyone at BOTB knows the RS6 is one of my all-time favourite cars so the new baby is going to be very spoiled.”
