A garden centre in Stanmore has named a hospice as its charity of the year.
Squire’s Garden Centre, on Common Road, will support the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home charity through to July next year.
It will raise awareness of the charity in the centre and through its marketing materials, as well as providing ongoing fundraising from events, collection boxes and Squire’s popular Christmas grotto.
Deputy manager Sarah Squire said: “We are delighted to be supporting Iain Rennie Hospice at Home, which was chosen by our team to be their local Charity of the Year.
“I know my colleagues at our Stanmore centre are looking forward to working with the team at Iain Rennie Hospice at Home and supporting their wonderful work in the local community.”
Iain Rennie Hospice at Home provides 24/7 hospice at home care and day hospice care, supporting local families in Herts and Bucks affected by life-limiting illness, so that patients of all ages can stay at home for as long as possible.
