LOVERS of all things French can eagerly await the arrival of a French market and its promise of delicious cheeses, wines and jams.
Authentic traders from Normandy will tempt hungry shoppers at the market in Albert Crescent, Chingford, from 9am to 5pm this Saturday (August 27).
The French marché is promising to be three times the size of the two recently held Italian markets, with much more on offer than just food.
Regional cheeses, freshly baked bread, patisserie products, olives, and jams will also be joined by stalls selling handbags, jewellery, Provençal soaps and much more.
The all-French line-up of traders from the France At Home team is also the only French market to join the Franco-British chamber of commerce & industry.
As such, tighter regulations ensure all meat and dairy-selling stall holders have the UK Level 2 Award in Food Safety.
