V Festival is back for another year in Chelmsford this weekend, with an impressive lineup of some of the world's biggest artists. Here is our top picks of who to expect...

5. David Guetta

No music festival would be complete without the EDM and electro house sounds of megastar David Guetta. The Paris-born DJ, who has sold nine million albums and 30 million singles worldwide, will be celebrating V Festival's 21st anniversary with a mix of all his hits, including When Love Takes Over, Where Them Girls At and Without You.

4. Sia

The Australian songstress is famous for covering her face on stage and refusing to appear on the cover art or video of her songs, instead using American teenage dance sensation Maddie Ziegler. However, underneath her elusive façade is a powerful voice and she will be blowing away audiences with her vocals on Saturday as she sings along to Cheap Thrills, Titanium and Wild Ones.

3. Rick Astley

If you start to feel nostalgic over the weekend and want to hear a 1980s pop classic rather than endless current hits, be prepared to be transported back in time as Rick Astley is set to belt out his famous Never Going To Give You Up. The song was a number one hit in more than 25 countries in 1987 and stayed at the top of the charts in the UK for five weeks.

2. Rihanna

The Barbadian superstar has been topping charts all over the world for more than 10 years. She will be performing at Hylands Park on Sunday and will keep the crowds dancing along to the up-tempo, dancehall song Rude Boy and the reggae-pop Work, along with the slower beats of Stay, Love The Way You Lie and Diamonds.

1. Justin Bieber

Whether you label yourself a Belieber or not, there is no denying the Canadian singer's new tunes are seriously catchy and will no doubt stick in your head all day. Justin is headlining the festival in Chelmsford on Saturday and will be performing some of his classic tunes from the days before his voice broke, including Baby and One Time, as well as new songs Sorry and Cold Water.
