A man has been arrested after a blind pensioner was robbed and hospitalised earlier this month.
The 71-year-old, described by police as "visually impaired", was punched in the face and robbed of £400 on Saturday, July 2 in Fore Street, Edmonton.
A 43-year-old man was arrested today (Wednesday, July 27) on suspicion of robbery and is in custody at a north London police station.
The victim is still in hospital after he was left lying on the ground by his attacker, but police say he is in a stable condition and should recover fully.
