YOUNG people learning about their own identity, are asking others; what makes them unique?

Funded by grant-giving John Lyon’s Charity, the Exposure charity has been working with more than 50 volunteers from Finchley’s Woodhouse College, Barnet & Southgate College, Christ’s College Finchley Academy and the Pavilion Study Centre.

Exposure is an award winning charity aiming to help young people in north London.

The team strive to help young people gain experience and opportunities in creative industries and help them on issues that matter to them.

Student Louisa Stratton, said: “It’s hard enough discovering who you are without being constantly questioned and misunderstood by others.

“We had an intense time exploring areas of our identity while learning new communication skills with Exposure. It was an amazing experience.”

Their short film titled ‘Who Are We?’ along with a 12-page magazine and online work, are all part of a project that explores challenges of identity in today’s society.
