The trial of an alleged sexual predator accused of preying on four women and a 14-year-old girl has been adjourned.

Ramazan Karapinar, 19, is alleged to have groped his victims in a string of attacks over three weeks in Carshalton, went on trial at Isleworth Crown Court earlier this month.

It has now been moved to Croydon Crown Court, where it is scheduled to resume on July 7.

The Turkish national is charged with six counts of sexual assault in January, alleged to have taken place near Carshalton and Carshalton Beeches rail stations.

Four of Mr Karapinar’s alleged victims were aged between 22 and 34 at the time the offences are said to have taken place.

The fifth, a 14-year-old schoolgirl, is said to have been attacked after getting off a school bus in Carshalton Beeches on January 28.
