Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a house fire in Corfe Avenue in Harrow this afternoon.

The loft of a two storey house was entirely damaged by the blaze. Four residents left the property before the arrival of the fire service.

Fire crews from Northolt, Southall and Hillingdon fire stations attended the scene.

Crews were called at 1.52pm and the fire was under control by 3.12pm.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
