Pupils at a Leyton school turned detective for the day when they were asked to solve a murder mystery.
George Mitchell School invited students from Willow Brook and Nuri Islam schools to join them in solving the case of the murdered deputy head teacher.
Youngsters listened to suspect interviews and took samples from the crime scene in a bid to catch the killer.
George Mitchell pupil Roberto, aged 10, said: "I'm really good at maths so I liked working out whether each suspect could have been at the crime scene when the crime happened."
