A NURSING home is inviting people to its open day as part of a national celebration of carers.
Heathlands Care Home in Hatch Lane, Chingford, is welcoming those who may now or in the future require nursing to come down on Friday, June 17, from 10am to 4pm.
The National Care Home Open Day event will feature first-hand show rounds, Indian head massage sessions, seated yoga and line dancing classes, karate demonstrations and a BBQ.
The nursing home opened in 2009 and boasts 84 beds and three nursing suites, one dementia suite and one challenging behaviour suite.
