Missed the marathon? Well, you've now also missed your first chance this year to run in the nuddy - but don't worry, it's just the first of a year of events at the Naturist Foundation's estate between Swanley and Orpington.

A record 140 runners dared to bare at the Naturist Foundation’s first 5k run of the year on Sunday, May 15.

Members of local running clubs were welcomed alongside naturists who just like a casual jog as nature intended for the event on their 50-acre woodland estate at Brocken Hurst.

The overall winner finished in a very respectable 17 minutes and six seconds – no easy feat considering the runners had to contend with the bumpy off-road terrain course.

The race is the first of two annual 5k runs and opened the foundation’s calendar of events in the buff for 2016.

Still to come this year are a Spring Bash activity weekend from May 27 to 29 and Billy’s Family Activity Week from August 20 to 30.

The Naturist Foundation welcomes visitors throughout the season but asks anyone interested in attending events to contact the office to arrange a visit in advance.
