A street is closed in Woolwich after a hole opened in the road, the third to appear in the Greenwich borough in 10 days.
Sandy Hill Road is closed to traffic from Nightingale Vale to Burrage Place while the hole is investigated.
Buses are being diverted via Burrage Road.

The road was cordoned off yesterday afternoon, on the same day that another larger hole appeared in Woodland Terrace, Charlton, almost swallowing a car.
Last week residents in Brickfield Cottages, off King's Highway, were evacuated when a 5mx5m hole appeared outside a home.

Labour councillor for Woolwich Common David Gardner tweeted: "Sandy Hill sinkhole small compared to Charlton but could expand."
A spokesman for Greenwich Council said: "The Royal Borough of Greenwich is aware of a localised road surface collapse at Sandy Hill Road that occurred yesterday at approximately 5pm.
"We are working with TFL to ensure that traffic is diverted while the road is made safe.
"Although there is no evidence to suggest that this incident is linked with the hole in Woodland Terrace, we are extensively investigating the matter.”
