UCAS Trip
Students attending sixth form or college are currently finding themselves in a position of researched the life that will lie ahead after school-life is over. For some it my be pursuing a undergraduate course at university or applying for an apprenticeship linked to their future career. Either way both require an significant amount of thought.
The importance of UCAS is a very underlying topic in a every students life and therefore when events can be organised they are often much of an eye opener for pupils like myself. I found the trip quite interesting as it had universities from all over the country as well as some countries abroad and also included a various amount of apprenticeships organisations.
The ability to talk to different people enlightened me on the many different topics I could do in university it also informed on the variety of experiences that came with it like the oppurtunities to go a year abroad whether that was experiencing culture or doing an extensive amount of research in local areas.
Provided with such great advice and information created an excited atmosphere across many students who were now looking forward to the future that always seemed just a bit confusing. With more than enough prospectus and leaflets to carry home along with free stuf like bags, pens and notepads it was definetly at satisfactory event.
