Hayes Station in Bromley was shut earlier today after a woman fell onto the tracks.
London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called at 11.02am.
An LAS spokesman said: "We sent an ambulance crew, a single responder by car and London's Air Ambulance.
"We took one woman as a priority by road ambulance to a major trauma centre."
A spokesman for British Transport Police (BTP) said: “Officers from BTP were called to Hayes station in Bromley shortly after 11.14am this morning following reports a person had fallen onto the tracks.
“Officers from BTP and colleagues from the London Ambulance Service attended and woman in her 80s was taken to hospital for assessment.
“The station has since reopened.”
