A woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Cheam.
Police and paramedics were called to Beresford Road at about 4pm to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the woman was taken to a south London hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Officers were seen conducting door-to-door enquiries in the street more than two hours after the crash.
