Thamesmead's most-loved feathered friend stopped by KFC this afternoon to enjoy an al fresco feast.
Affectionately named Hannibal for his cannibalistic tendencies, the chicken-loving heron has paid a number of flying visits to the restaurant chain.
The peckish bird was seen perched on the roof of KFC just last month.
In March last year, a group of herons were seen using the zebra crossing to head in the direction of the fast food restaurant in Cannon Retail Park.
Craig James Wiltshire spotted the plucky fast food fiend this time and videoed him tucking into a takeaway.
