A flood alert has been issued for the Thames from Teddington to Putney.
The Environment Agency has given a 'be prepared' amber warning meaning flooding is possible.
River flow at Teddington Weir is high for this time of year and light rain showers are expected this evening and tomorrow.
The areas most likely to be affected by flooding are Putney Embankment, Ranelagh Drive, Friars Lane and Water Lane, Riverside and the Embankment at Twickenham and the Towpath below Teddington Lock.
