Part of South Harrow tube station remains closed today because of damage to a platform.

The station's eastbound platform was shut yesterday morning after it was reported some of the platform had collapsed.

More repairs will be carried out tonight after service finishes on the Piccadilly Line.

Transport for London said the platform would re-open as soon as it is safe to do so.

The westbound platform is open as usual.

The cause of the damage is still being investigated.

London Buses are accepting London Underground tickets on local services.

Commuters can use the adjacent Piccadilly Line stations at Rayners Lane or Sudbury Hill to complete their journeys by boarding westbound trains.
