Trains were unable to run between Lewisham and London Victoria after a digger hit a railway bridge at Brockley.
The mini excavator became stuck under the bridge in Mantle Road just after 11.30am today (February 13).

Services between London Victoria and Dartford and London Charing Cross and Gillingham are now running normally but were delayed until just after 3.30pm.
Disruption was originally expected to end at 2pm but bridge engineers advised train companies that further checks need to be carried out.

A spokesman for National Rail said: "Trains are now running normally between Lewisham and London Victoria."
