Rising damp and mould spores on the kitchen floor have been left after repair and renovation work, according to a housing association tenant in Tooting.
Michael Connolly claims he has made several phone calls since 2010 about damp and subsidence issues in the flat, managed by London and Quadrant Housing, but the problems have not gone away.
He said: "They came round last week and they put filler in the wall, a bit of paper up and magnolia paint.
"They did not take care of the damp problem.
"I have got rising damp in the kitchen, things growing out of the wall."
Mr Connolly, who lives in Longley Road in Tooting, claims his housing association told him work in the bedroom is done, but he is not satisfied.
He said: "Water is leaking through, I have got rotten windows.
"I wake up in the night with a tight chest and coughing.
"There is black mould going up the walls, out the floor and fungal spores."
A spokesman from London and Quadrant said: "Since we were notified of the issue on January 8 our dedicated maintenance team and contractors have been working with Mr Connolly to identify the cause of the damp and repair it as soon as possible.
"From the January 18-22 the subsidence in the property was successfully treated and the remaining damp issues will also be resolved shortly on a date to be confirmed.
"We would like to thank Mr Connolly and the other residents at 52 Longley Road for their continued patience at this time."
