A man who stabbed two pub regulars with steak knives during a brutal brawl four years ago has been sent back to prison again for beating up a woman and stealing a car.

Chilver, now 28, beat up a woman in Southsea Drive, near Kingston University, stole a white Dacia Sandero and damaged it.

He was also driving while disqualified and without insurance.

Chilver, now living in Balaclava Road, Surbiton, had admitted his guilt at a hearing on January 2 - the day after the car theft.

He was committed to prison for 12 weeks by Wimbledon magistrates on Monday. They said all non-custodial options had been tried and failed.

Chilver was 24 when he was given a three-and-a-half year sentence for stabbing a pub regular in the back in beer garden in a bloody attack at Hook's North Star pub in March 2011.

His friend Mark Steemson - also jailed - had drunkenly argued with bar staff over last orders and then waved knives at a landlady.

The two injured men had been trying to step in and help bar staff.

At the time of the attack Chilver, who was then living in Stormont Way, Chessington, had just completed a prison term for hitting someone over the head with a bottle, leaving them needing 15 stitches.

He also absconded from prison last summer sparking a police manhunt.
