A MURDER investigation has been launched following a stabbing in East Finchley.
The victim has been named as 55-year-old Derek McAllister, who was stabbed in High Road on December 30, near to the junction with Huntingdon Road.
He died in hospital last Wednesday (January 13), and his next of kin have been informed.
A 32-year-old man was charged on January 1 with GBH wounding with intent.
A post mortem took place last Friday (January 15) at Northwick Park.
