A FATHER and daughter teamed up to add a dash of colour to supported living apartments in Golders Green

Graphic designer Marc Harding and his daughter Lola, 12, spent six months creating a canvas for Kisharon’s Hanna Schwalbe centre.

They took on the project to mark Lola’s Bat Mitzvah, which took place in October at Finchley Synagogue.

The pair also got involved to mark the opening of Kisharon’s newly-refurbished apartments for people with learning disabilities.

Lola, a Year 7 pupil at Immanuel College in Bushey, said she was “proud of their work.”

The painting depicts Jewish and Israeli images including the seven species, the three foot festivals of Pesach, Shavuot and Succot, and the moon and stars representing Rosh Chodesh.

The background also shows the sun, the Wailing Wall, and the Hamsa, a good luck symbol.

Elaine Harding, Marc’s wife and Lola’s mother, said: “We wanted to do something nice for Kisharon because it’s such a fabulous charity.”
