A young man was taken to hospital with head wounds after an assault in Plumstead.
Officers were called to Church Manor Way, at its junction with Brookdene Road, just after 5pm yesterday evening (November 26).
The Met were called to reports of an assault and found a male - whose exact age is unknown but is thought to be in his teens - suffering from a head injury.

Despite widespread rumours of a stabbing police confirmed this was not the case.
Residents took to social media in the aftermath of the incident describing seeing two police cars and a police van.
The road was reportedly taped off after the incident.
Officers are still thought to be at the scene.
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
