Multiple Southeastern trains have been cancelled this morning (November 10), due to the mystical excuse of "train faults".

Three of the services affected were commuter services to and from London Charing Cross.

Earlier today, the 7.20am train from Dartford to Charing Cross, passing through Bexley and Lewisham boroughs, was cancelled.

The 8.19am train to Hayes - calling at Catford Bridge, Lower Sydenham, New Beckenham, Clock House, Elmers End, Eden Park and West Wickham - has also been cancelled.

TODAY'S TOP STORIES:

This will also affect the 9.08am train from Hayes, which normally arrives into London at 9.48am.

Those hoping to catch a train from Swanley may be delayed by an entirely different problem - a lorry hitting a railway bridge between Rochester and Sole Street.

Kent police have confirmed that the lorry driver has been reported for careless driving.

Southeastern have said trains are able to run Rochester to Swanley via Sole Street - but under caution so delays are expected.

Meanwhile, several members of the News Shopper team are currently stuck, after being held up by a cancelled train from Victoria to Orpington - details of which cannot be found on Southeastern's website.
