London Fire Brigade sent two fire engines to the scene
A boy was rescued from a house fire in Erith on Wednesday (November 4).
Two fire engines and around ten firefighters were called to the blaze in a terraced house in Aspen Green shortly after 6pm.
The fire damaged a small part of the ground floor and crews wearing breathing apparatus rescued a boy from the second floor via an internal staircase.
The fire was under control by 7.10pm.
Its cause is under investigation.
