A gas leak at a building in Rushey Green has caused traffic delays this morning
Firefighters were called to gas leak in Rushey Green, Catford this morning (November 5).
Road restrictions were put in place in the area after the London Fire Brigade was called at about 7am.
A spokesman for the Brigade said: "The gas supply in the air conditioning unit was leaking.
"A number of units were sent to the incident.
"We stayed to check for harmful chemicals but no elevated levels were found.
"The incident ended at 9.35am and the building was handed back to the manager."
Traffic in the area has now returned to normal.
