Disruption to trains through Lewisham is expected to last until midday today (November 5) after signalling problems at the station.
Southeastern has advised that trains in the area may be diverted or delayed.
Customers can use London Underground services on "reasonable routes" at no extra cost.
However, some questioned how they were meant to make the jump from Lewisham to the tube line.
