A man sought by police for £11,000 worth of designer clothing thefts in Kingston town centre has been charged.
Police were tracing 25-year-old Gary Staines in connection with five thefts between February 5 and August 24.
Mr Staines, from Canonbury Road, Islington, handed himself in at a west London police station on October 28 and was charged with five counts of theft today.
He was bailed to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on November 30.
