A 23-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, following a stabbing in St Paul's Cray, Orpington, on Saturday evening (October 10).

Wayne Price, of London Road in Greenhithe, was also charged with three counts of making threats to kill following the attack - which happened in Chipperfield Road at around 6pm.

His victim, another man who is also 23, was taken to a south London hospital in a critical condition.

Price was remanded in custody and will appear at Croydon Crown Court on October 26, having already appeared before magistrates in Bromley on Monday.

A Met Police spokesman said: "Police were called at approximately 6pm, to reports of a stabbing.
