A third Kingston man has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in a horrific acid attack on a mother-of-six.

The suspect, taken into custody by Metropolitan Police officers in Surbiton yesterday, is the fourth person to have been arrested after Carla Whitlock suffered "life-changing" burns in Southampton on September 18.

Brothers Billy, 22, and Geoffrey Midmore, 26, of Old Malden, have been charged with conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm over the attack, while a 33-year-old woman arrested at the same time as them has been bailed until November 20.
