In a survey taking in more than 12,000 Londoners, Wandsworth has come out on top for the best area of the capital to live in.
Nearby Clapham is number one due to the excellent transport links, good entertainment and the leafy common right on the doorstep.
Wandsworth's Balham is close behind in the number two spot, presumably for similar reasons such as an abundance of cafes and pubs surrounded by Clapham, Wandsworth and Tooting Commons.
Battersea and Clapham Junction are at number eight and Tooting came in at number 10.
Other notable places within the top 20 of TimeOut’s survey are North Kensington, Herne Hill, Notting Hill and Camden.
