A striking image showing a different kind of urban gang to usual looking menacing in a London car park has won a photography award.
Tomos Brangwyn, from Mitcham, entered his London Starling Gang picture into the British Wildlife Photography Awards, and it was named the winner in the urban wildlife category.
Chaitanya Deshpande’s stunning image A Flutter in the Woods, also taken in London, was the winner in the wild woods category.
Prizes were awarded in 16 categories, with the overall winner being On the Edge, a photograph of gannets in the Shetland Isles taken by Barrie Williams.
