Walthamstow MP Stella Creasy has read out a selection of the abusive emails she has received during her campaign to become deputy leader of the Labour Party.

In an expletive-ridden Youtube clip complete with lounge music, a self-effacing Stella recites some of the replies she has received to campaign emails from members.

These include being compared to an ‘alien egg’ and looking like she has had ‘more c**ks than hot dinners’.

Reciting the emails straight to camera, Ms Creasy says: "Peter from Newark wrote to me to say ‘as I told one of your team I am a sucker for posh totty, but in all honesty that photo doesn’t do you justice’.”

“Mark wrote to me to say ‘f**k off, you look like an alien egg’."

"Nicola wrote to me to say ‘If she didn’t look like she’s had more c***s than hot dinners, I’d vote for her’.”

But Ms Creasy has a point to uncovering the abuse saying: “I get it no-one wants volumes of un-wanted spam.

"We have got to improve the way in which Labour Party communicates with itself and the way we use new technology.

"If you vote for me for deputy leader I will make it one of my priorities.”

Creasy is up against rival candidates Tom Watson, Ben Bradshaw, Angela Eagle and Caroline Flint in the contest.

The winner will be announced at a Labour conference on Saturday (September 12).
